Dr. LaPierre grew up in Holland, Massachusetts and graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor of science in biochemistry. She earned her doctorate at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
Dr. LaPierre has specific interests in emergency/critical care medicine, feline specific medicine, ultrasound, dentistry, and surgery. Prior to joining the team at the Animal Hospital of Putnam, she worked in an emergency hospital in their intensive care unit. She spends her time away from the hospital doing crafts, and reading up on the latest medicine with her cats and her American Bulldog, Thea.
